Description: Murine anti-gp120 HIV-1 mAb (V3 loop specific) onjugated to Colloidal Gold (25nm mean particle size).

Coupling Ratio: OD 520nm = 15; protein content approximately 50µg.

Specificity: Gold conjugated anti-gp120 binds to gp120 (HIV-1, IIIB) in dot blot assays; 10- 20% reactivity wht gp120 MN, RF, SF2 and other HIV-1 strains.

Biological Activity: Not determined.

Application and Instructions for use:

Recommended dilutions for use are approximate values. A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. Gold conjugated anti-gp120 may be used in 1 : 100 dilution range depending on the concentration and speicificity of the test ligand (gp120). Immunohistochemstry may be performed in 1 : 50 dilution range.
